Week 13b: Premature Obsessination

I can't wait for September 25th. Fall can't come soon enough! Why? Why, you ask. I'll tell you ... that's the day New Amsterdam will premier.

I know, it's sad.It's 2 months away and I'm already obsessing. But I don't care! Every time I see one of these previews FOX deigns me with, I get all squigly inside. Yes, I said FOX. Yes, I know that the eps will be shown out of order and the show will be canceled only after a couple of eps. But I can't help it! I'm sick, sick I tell you! *sobs*

I think I have a thing for immortals. That might explain my affection for vampires, but, hey, give me pretty much any immortal and I'm a gonner. That MacLeod clan had me at the first sword fight, I'll have you know.

I love that there is going to be exploration of the consequences of immortality in this show. I think that's what always interested me in the possibility of living for ever, the fact that it is both a blessing and a curse. I think Highlander covered a lot of that ground but I wouldn't mind seeing what somebody else's take on it will be.

Also, it won't hurt that this will be another very good-looking fellow :) MMMMmmmm, Yummy!
